José T. de Sousa, PhD: Founder, President, CTO and CEO.  Dr. de Sousa co-founded Coreworks in 2001, and has served the company since then. Previously he held positions at Technical University of Lisbon, INESC-ID (Lisbon), DAFCA (Framingham, MA), Bell Labs / Lucent Technologies (Murray Hill, NJ), and LSI Logic (Milpitas, CA). He co-authored a text book and published more than 50 technical papers, and is a co-inventor in 4 patents. He holds a BS and MS degrees in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Technical University of Lisbon and a PhD from Imperial College (University of London).

Fernando Gonçalves, PhD: Founder and COO. He received his BS, MS and PhD in Electricaland Computer Engineering from Technical University of Lisbon.  Dr. Goncalves served as a researcher and manager at the INESC-ID research institute. He is an assistant professor at the Technical University of Lisbon. He hasco-authored more than 40 technical papers in the areas of Electronic Testingand Reconfigurable Hardware. Dr. Goncalves brings with him years of experience in chip design, hardwaredevelopment, and executive management.
